ひょんなことから巾着田に行く事になったのは去年の春
マイフレのEさんに休みに越生に行く話をしたところ自分も行きたいと
言うので待ち合わせを飯能市役所にして行く事になった。
越生までのコースを県道ではつまらないので高麗から林道清流線を辿って権現堂線へ入り山伝いに越生に下りるコースにしてみた。

ちょうどその時、高麗の巾着田で菜の花が満開で「菜の花フェスティバル」のイベントが開催されていると言う情報が入っていたので噂の巾着田にも初めて行ってみた。

土手の桜並木の桜もちょうど満開で巾着田の中では菜の花が
一面に咲き乱れて黄色一色に包まれていた。
桜と菜の花の競演が忘れられず今年の春も再び巾着田に
行くべきイベントを用意したのだが東北の震災でイベントは中止
になってしまった。

と言う訳で春のリベンジではないけど
こちらが本命の彼岸花が今が見ごろの巾着田に行って来た。
飯能駅に集合して自転車で３０分ほどで巾着田に着いた。
巾着田を囲むように流れている高麗川の土手の河川敷あたりに
曼珠沙華が咲いていた。
満開に咲いているところではカメラで撮影する人たちが通路に立ち止まるので通路の往来が出来ないくらいに人がひしめいていた。

西武鉄道ではこの時期臨時列車を増発して花見客を運んでいる。
サイボクハムにいくシャトルバスも運行していた。

途中寄った高麗神社でも催し物があって人が大勢集まっていた。
鎌北湖から林道権現堂線の登り道を自転車で登って越生に下りて
山猫軒でランチ、豆腐の藤屋で豆腐プリンなんかを食べて飯能へ
帰って来た。
